HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CALA JADE PRODUCTS

To keep the bags looking beautiful and age with grace, take good care of your bag is important.

It will get a unique patina with wear, and we hope you will come to love the natural variations and beauty marks.

- Gently rub with a soft cloth or leather conditioner now and then to help fade any marks and the skin supple. If it get a little dirty, a dry or damp cloth will do the trick.

- If you get caught in the rain, let the bag dry off naturally.

- Protect it from direct sunlight and heat.

- We recommend a leather protector spray before use to better protected against water,

snow, stains, and grease. Spray about 20 cm away. Let it dry for 30 minutes.

- Be mindful if the leather is a darker shade, I may transfer color to light clothing. And if a

light color shade, dark fabrics might rub off onto the leather.

- Store it away in the original dust bag when not used.

Known for its smooth surface and natural finish. Expect natural variation in the natural grain

and making. With time it will develop a rich patina that reflects our journey together.

BUFFALO TOLEDO

Buffalo leather is strong and full of character, with a natural grain and rich texture.Naturally durable and full of character, it softens with time and develops a rich, lived-in patina. Our Buffalo toledo has a natural water based tanning process.

SUEDE

Bags made from suede leather are soft and rich in texture. Delicate by nature, it requires

gentle care to protect against moisture, stains, and wear. Natural variations in the surface are part of the charm.

NUBUCK

Nubuck leather is lightly buffed on the surface, giving it a soft, velvety feel. It’s more durable than suede but still needs care. Protect it from water and treat it gently to preserve its texture.

ANILINE LEATHER

Aniline leather has little to no protective coating, making it more susceptible to staining and surface scratches. Treat this items with some extra care, and the bag will age beautifully. We use Anline leather for our Nutmeg and Pecan bags, each bag is unique and will develop a distinct patina over time, adding to its beauty.
